Denholm Hewlett is a British filmmaker and visual artist working across documentary, music video and experimental moving image. His work combines striking imagery, performance, storytelling and visual experimentation, shaped through a hands-on approach to directing, editing and cinematography.

Since 2017, he has directed two feature films alongside a body of documentary and music video work, collaborating with artists including Gorillaz, Peven Everett, MF DOOM, Mong Tong, Dongyang Gozupa, Serpiko, Gbogboade, Africa Express, Otim Alpha, Metal Preyers, Ak'Chamel, Super-Jack, Lord Tusk and RUFFMERCY.

His second feature film, Peven Everett: Voice of a Generation, is due for release in Winter 2026.
